Drug delivery systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the drug delivery system may be configured to deliver the drug to the patient in harmony with the patient's physiological parameters (eg, the patient's natural cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulsation or the patient's heart rate or respiratory rate). In some embodiments, the drug delivery system can be configured to use a combination of infusion and aspiration to control delivery of the drug to the patient.
