PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed apparatus including a concrete mechanism which enables a top plate to move in the direction of a long axis and the direction of a short axis (right and left direction), and to provide a medical image diagnosis apparatus including the bed apparatus.SOLUTION: The bed apparatus includes: the top plate to mount a subject thereon a bed which supports the top plate a driving means which drives moving of the top plate with respect to the bed and a top plate support which mounts and supports the top plate, between the top plate and the bed. The top plate support is supported from the bed, and the top plate includes a mechanism which enables the top plate to move in an optional direction on the opposite face side of the top plate support.
