PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bush cutter capable of easily recognizing rotation of the cutting blade.
SOLUTION: The electric bush cutter includes an operation rod 20 including an elongated connecting portion 30 and a holding portion 25, a motor supported at one end part of the connecting portion 30, a cutting blade rotatably driven by the motor, an electric power source 10 set on the operation rod and supplying electric power to the motor, a drive switch 16 switching on and off the electric power supply to the motor, and a light emitting portion 18 emitting light by electric power generated by inertia rotation of the motor when the drive switch 16 is switched from on to off.
