The present invention relates to compounds that are useful as metal ligands and which can be bound to a biological entity such as a molecular recognition moiety and methods of making these compounds. Once the compounds that are bound to a biological entity are coordinated with a suitable metallic radionuclide, the coordinated compounds are useful as radiopharmaceuticals in the areas of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. The invention therefore also relates to methods of diagnosis and therapy utilising the radiolabelled compounds of the invention.La présente invention concerne des composés utilisés comme ligands métalliques et pouvant être liés à une entité biologique telle qu'un fragment de reconnaissance moléculaire, et des procédés de fabrication de ces composés. Une fois les composés liés à une entité biologique, ils sont coordonnés avec un radionucléide métallique approprié. Les composés coordonnés sont utiles comme produits radiopharmaceutiques dans les domaines de la radiothérapie et de l'imagerie de diagnostic. L'invention concerne donc également des procédés de diagnostic et de traitement utilisant les composés radiomarqués de l'invention.
