A lipid composition comprising (1) component (A) and (2) component (B): (1) the component (A) being at least one component selected from ceramides represented by Formula (1): (Formula (1)) where R1 is a straight hydrocarbon group having 9 to 17 carbon atoms which may have a hydroxyl group and/or a double bonds, R2 is an acyl group having 14 to 30 carbon atoms which may have a hydroxyl group and,(2) the component (B) being at least one component selected from aliphatic alcohol having 12 to 30 carbon atoms, as well as having an excellent compatibility at 90°C or less and a liquid crystal dispersion formulation in which the liquid crystal formed by the component (A) is dispersed.Composition lipidique comportant (1) un constituant (A) et un constituant (B). Ladite composition présente également une excellente compatibilité à une température égale ou inférieure à 90 °C, ainsi quune formulation de cristaux liquides en dispersion dans laquelle est dispersé le cristal liquide composé par le constituant (A).
