PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-operated walking type mower which facilitates fixing and unfixing of a battery relative to a traveling machine body.SOLUTION: A traveling machine body 4 supported by wheels 2, 3 to travel is provided with a cutting blade 6 for cutting grass, an electric motor 8 for driving the cutting blade 6 and the wheels 2, 3, a battery 11 for a power source that is arranged on one side of the front or rear of the travel machine body 4, a battery loading member 43 where the battery 11 is held by being detachably loaded from the outside in a front-back direction, and a swing arm 63 which can vertically swing and is retained in a position where it swings upward.
