The present invention relates to a radio frequency (RF) therapy device, an RF therapy device control method, and a skin treatment method using RF energy. To this end, the RF therapy device comprises: an RF generator for generating RF energy； an electrode for delivering RF energy to a target tissue； a sensor part configured to sense energy transmitted to the electrode； and a controller for controlling output in the RF generator, receiving a sensing value from the sensor part, calculating the impedance of the RF energy applied to the electrode, and blocking the RF energy when the impedance is determined to increase for a predetermined period of time.
