FIELD: butter industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the butter industry, in particular to batch butter making machines. Butter making machine includes a cylindrical container and a drive-driven churning mechanism. Cylindrical container on one side is equipped with a bottom, and on the other side with a fill window. Fill window is equipped with a lid. On the inner side of the lid, rods are rigidly mounted, having a circumferential shape in cross section. Rods are equispaced from the intersection of the geometric axes of the lid and located at equal angular intervals. Cylindrical container is mounted vertically on a frame and the bottom is facing the frame. Churning mechanism is located in a cavity of the cylindrical container. Drive of the churning mechanism is located under the bottom from the its lower outer side along an axis of symmetry of the cylindrical container. In a cavity on an inner surface of the cylindrical container, along the height with an equal angular pitch, there are fins, having the shape of an elongated rectangle in cross section. Churning mechanism is installed above the bottom of the cylindrical container and is formed by a flat disk with an axis and blades. Each blade has the shape of an elongated rectangle in cross section.
