PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of long distance communication with a companion animal capable of causing a raiser of the companion animal to easily grasp an intention expression by a behavior pattern of the companion animal even in a remote location, and a method for long distance communication with the companion animal using the system.SOLUTION: A system of long distance communication with a companion animal includes a commutation device that collects behavior pattern information on a companion animal, and transmits a message set by analyzing the behavior pattern information through wired/wireless networks, and a user terminal that receives and outputs the message transmitted from the communication device through the wired/wireless networks. In a method for long distance communication, the companion animal can be shared with others, using the system of long distance communication.
