The present invention provides PD-1 monoclonal antibodies, particularly human monoclonal antibodies of PD-1, which specifically bind to PD-1 with high affinity and include heavy and light chains. The invention further provides nucleic acid sequences encoding the antibodies of the invention, cloning or expression vectors, methods of expressing or isolating host cells and antibodies. An immunoconjugate, therapeutic composition comprising an antibody of the invention is also provided.
