An oral adhering lozenge is provided which delivers to the mouth a component with an undesirable flavor and a component for delivering a masking flavor. The oral adhering lozenge comprises a first, adherent layer and a second layer. The first, adherent layer includes a flavor-masking component, and the second layer includes both an active component and a flavor-masking component. In another configuration, the first, adherent layer includes both an active component and a flavor-masking component. In use, the second layer of the lozenge generally finishes dissolving and/or eroding in the mouth before the first layer finishes dissolving and/or eroding. The later eroding adherent layer will continue to release the flavor-masking component after all of the active component has been released into the mouth, thereby providing increased masking of any bitter aftertaste of the active.L'invention concerne une pastille adhésive orale qui délivre à la bouche un composant ayant un arôme indésirable et un composant pour délivrer un arôme de masquage.
