PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing mowing sickle including a flat blade in a strong blade body, a plurality of triangular blades continued in series from the flat blade, and a long handle.SOLUTION: The standing mowing sickle includes the long handle 6 and the blade body 1 attached to the distal end of the long handle. The standing mowing sickle also includes the flat blade 2 at the distal end of the blade body 1 and a plurality of triangular blades 3 disposed in series in the flat blade. A triangular groove (a) is obliquely formed at a corner on the opposite side from the distal end.
