PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce resistance to Phytophthora rot of soybeans or red beans.SOLUTION: Soybeans are sowed in a plastic cell tray. The root ball portions of the soybeans are subjected to a flooding treatment using a calcium solution (the plastic cell tray as it is) after one week from a first primary leaf-confirming day, and then transplanted.
