PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generating device for bath which is free from the risk of failure with a simple structure, which can suppress cost low in every aspect, whose use procedure is simple and which can generate a sufficient amount of hydrogen.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generating device 10 for bath generates hydrogen in hot water in a bathtub with the aim of improving a bathing effect and it includes: a base body 30 which comes into contact with a placement surface on which the hydrogen generating device 10 for bath is placed； and a magnesium plate 80a, a magnesium plate 80b and a magnesium plate 80c mounted on the base body 30.
