To produce a medical image diagnostic apparatus changing to a planned password and securing the security even if year information used as information relevant to a password of the apparatus is changed.
SOLUTION: When an initial run is performed in a planned year and a user ID and a password are inputted ON a password input window 27a and then a data memory part 28 obtains and stores past years by clock function in an MRI apparatus from a year information memory part 29. The inputted user ID and the password related to the year stored in the data memory part 28 are obtained from the database memory part 30a and compared with the inputted password, and a maintenance PROGRAM in the MRI apparatus can be available when the passwords correspond to each other. The data memory part 28 does not obtain information from the year information memory part 29 ON and after the second run of the year and the same process as the initial run of the planned year is performed based ON the year information stored in the data memory part 28.
