PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new improvement for stably gripping a reel seat.SOLUTION: A reel seat includes: a front hood 12 set to the outer peripheral surface of a fishing rod body and receiving a front leg 8 extended forward from a support leg 7 of a fishing reel 5； a rear hood 18 set to the outer peripheral surface of the fishing rod body and receiving a rear leg 9 extended backward from the support leg 7； and a cylindrical spacer 20 provided between the front hood 12 and the rear hood 18 of the outer peripheral surface of the fishing rod body.
