PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sterilization method capable of obtaining a sterilization ability enough to make practicable using an ozone gas.SOLUTION: A container sterilization method in this invention includes: the ozone gas/water feeding step S1 of feeding an ozone gas and water into a container 2 to make them coexist and a gas-liquid interface round step S2 of making a gas-liquid interface 15 between the ozone gas and water round in the container 2 by moving the container 2 to give fluidity by empty weight to the water in the container 2.
