FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to a stent delivery assembly, and more specifically to a stent delivery assembly, which has a deformable tip, to a wire guide assembly and to a method for making a previously mentioned stent delivery assembly. Stent delivery assembly comprises a catheter, an expandable stent movable relative to the catheter from the first position to the second position, and a wire guide assembly. Catheter is configured to deliver the stent at its distal end and has a first longitudinal passage at the distal end and an internal diameter of the catheter. Expandable stent has a second longitudinal passage and an internal diameter of the stent. Wire guide assembly passes through the first longitudinal passage and through the second longitudinal passage. Assembly can be moved relative to the distal end of the catheter from the third position to the fourth position. Wire guide assembly comprises an inner lumen having an outer surface and a radially adjustable tip arranged concentrically around the outer lumen outer surface. Radially adjustable tip of the wire guide assembly comprises a first end that narrows towards the inner lumen and is connected to the inner lumen, an opposite second end and a radially adjustable middle part. When the stent is in the first position, the stent is located concentrically inside the first longitudinal passage and has the first internal diameter of the stent. When the stent is in the second position, the stent is separated longitudinally from the first longitudinal passage of the catheter and has a second internal diameter of the stent larger than the first internal diameter of the stent.
