PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round rice-cake ornament allowing decoration thereof even at a narrow place such as, for example, a place on a thin TV set.SOLUTION: The round rice-cake ornament has a package for holding a round rice-cake container and standing on itself to display the round rice-cake container. The package has: a front surface portion for holding the round rice-cake container to be exposed forward a back surface portion connected to the upper part of the front surface portion, and opened and closed in the back-and-forth direction from a position at which the front surface portion and the back surface portion are superposed each other to a position at which the back surface portion is opened about the connected part at least a pair of side surface portions connected to any one of the front surface portion and the back surface portion, locking to the other of the front surface portion and the back surface portion when the back surface portion is opened, and holding the opened state and a tongue piece portion for preventing falling down which is connected to the back surface portion, folded to be stored between the front surface portion and the back surface portion, and pulled out to mount the package at a narrow place.
