A wearable physiological monitoring system is disclosed. The wearable physiological monitoring system includes a first wearable device and a second wearable device. The first wearable device has a first wearing surface and a first lead, which is exposed to the first wearing surface. The second wearable device has a second wearing surface and a second lead, which is exposed to the second wearing surface. The first lead is electrically connected to the second lead via a non-metallic conductor for transmitting a synchronizing signal.
