Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine pharmazeutische Zusammensetzung auf der Basis einer hochreinen, wässrigen Lösung von Chlordioxid, zur Verwendung in der lokalen oder systemischen Behandlung von akuten Vergiftungen durch Giftstoffe aus Pflanzen, Pilzen, Meerestieren, Amphibien, Reptilien, Spinnen oder Insekten und dadurch hervorgerufenen, klinisch relevanten Symptomen oder Zuständen des menschlichen oder tierischen Organismus. Sie enthält 5 bis 3000 mg/l (ppm) gelöstes Chlordioxid (CI02) und ist im gebrauchsfertigen Zustand im Wesentlichen frei von Chlorat-Ionen, Salzsäure und gasförmigem Chlor oder enthält diese Komponenten in einer Konzentration von jeweils maximal 1 % der jeweiligen Chlordioxidkonzentration.The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition based on a highly pure aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide for use in the local or systemic treatment of acute intoxication caused by toxic substances from plants, mushrooms, aquatic animals, amphibians, reptiles, spiders, or insects and the clinically relevant symptoms or conditions caused thereby of human or animal organisms.
