An apparatus is disclosed for vaporizing a chemical agent and delivering the chemical agent as a fumigation agent to an area in need of treatment. The vaporization apparatus includes a heater in fluid communication with the gas stream. The mixing means is in fluid communication with the chemical agent stream. The heater heats the gas to produce a hot gas stream. The hot gas stream is sent to the mixing means such that the hot gas stream is in contact with the chemical agent stream to vaporize at least a portion of the chemical agent stream.
