An example method of operating a user device includes collecting at least one of neurological data or physiological data of a user interacting with the user device. The example method also includes identifying a current user state based on the at least one of the neurological data or the physiological data. In addition, the example method includes modifying a characteristic of the user device based on the current user state and a desired user state.
