PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction valve of an endoscope which smoothly operates a valve body and makes it perform efficient suction operation without inserting a seal member, which demonstrates a function of intercepting the communication of a passage, between the valve body and a valve casing which compose the suction valve.
SOLUTION: A clearans C of 1-18 &mum is formed between the valve body 24 of the suction valve 20 and the valve casing 12 so that a throttling passage, where an airtight leakage amount becomes 20 cc/30 seconds or less, may be formed between them, and a solid lubricant coat 37 consisting of a compound material of one or two or more of the fluororesin class, the molybdenum disulfide class, and the graphite class is formed in the outer peripheral face of the valve body 24.
