The present invention relates a machine for processing rootstocks. The machine for processing rootstocks comprises of an assembly for inserting material, a sheller and an assembly for discharging material. The assembly for inserting material having a feeding hopper in cone-shape and a prop stand is mounted at the upper end of the feeding hopper peripherally for allowing a pneumatic cylinder to install therein stably so that the end of piston rod extending downwardly combines with a top stopper. There is a guiding part protruding from an inner side of the extending tube section adjacent to the sheller. In order to let the rootstocks filled in the assembly for inserting material be leaded into the sheller, the pneumatic cylinder has to be drove to operate the top stopper to move upwardly and form a height between the neck of the feeding hopper for guiding so that the rootstocks can fall in fluently.
