Disclosed are a rapid deployment system and method suitable for a time synchronization network, relating to the field of optical communication networks. The system comprises a servo synchronization initialization unit, a servo synchronization port detection unit, a servo synchronization unit and a servo synchronization management unit. When a node is electrified, hardware and a chip related to time synchronization are initialized and configured, the servo synchronization port detection unit, the servo synchronization unit and the servo synchronization management unit are started simultaneously, and the three units run periodically. The servo synchronization port detection unit detects the working and connection state of a line interface and updates a synchronization interface list. The servo synchronization unit receives and sends source time information and executes a servo mode or a synchronization mode according to the detected and received source time information. According to the present invention, the rapid deployment of a time synchronization network in engineering can be realized, the configuration workload can be remarkably reduced, and a fault caused by a configuration error is completely eradicated.
