PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method capable of stably acquiring biological information of a subject.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus 100 comprises: plural light emission parts 121 which irradiate the inspected portion of a subject； a light receiving part 123 which receives scattered light from the inspected portion； and a control part 160 which acquires biological information of the subject from the light receiving part by controlling the light emission parts.
