A method for measuring the bust by a measuring brassiere (bra) for obtaining templates, according to which the measuring bra is arranged on the body, the pressure on its areas is determined by means of measuring the value of stretching of cells of a measuring net with the aid of a pair of compasses. The measuring net is preliminary coated onto the cups of the measuring bra, the fitting of the measuring bra is corrected by mutual shifting split parts thereof up to the allowable stretching force, with the further arrangement of a breast in a cup and fixing thereof in a comfortable condition, after that the spatial shape of bust is shown as flexible plastic wire elements, according to the contours of which templates of parts of the bra are made, cutting fabric into parts is carried out and they are assembled into an article. Prior to correcting the fitting of the measuring bra, arranging the breast in a cup and fixing thereof in the comfortable condition, first, the direction of the comfortable condition of the breast is determined with the aid of corresponding regulating units, by pressing onto the outer sides of the cups in the direction from the sides to the middle, by means of changing the length of the regulating units of the direction of the breast, which are shifted as regards to the split parts of the measuring bra, made as bretelles, tapes along the bottom and upper of the cups, and fixed by fasteners after establishing the comfortable condition and direction of the bust. A distance between the cups is fixed by distance regulating units between the cups by means of pulling or releasing the string laces between the cups. The measuring bra consists of cups made of elastic material with a measuring net, coated onto the outer side thereof, said cups are connected with the side supporting part, the ends of which are connected with the aid of the fastener and bretelles, connected with the cups in such a manner as to allow splitting thereof, and the side supporting p
