A method for treating an angiogenesis-related disorder. The method includes administrating to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of the formula: Each of Ar<;SUB>;1<;/SUB>;, Ar<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;, and Ar<;SUB>;3<;/SUB>;, independently, is phenyl, thienyl, furyl, pyrrolyl, pyridinyl, or pyrimidinyl; each of R<;SUB>;1<;/SUB>;, R<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;, R<;SUB>;3<;/SUB>;, R<;SUB>;4<;/SUB>;, R<;SUB>;5<;/SUB>;, and R<;SUB>;6<;/SUB>;, independently, is R, nitro, halogen, C(O)OR, C(O)SR, C(O)NRR', (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;OR, (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;SR, (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;NRR', (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;CN, (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;C(O)OR, (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;CHO, (CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;CH-NOR, or R<;SUB>;1 <;/SUB>;and R<;SUB>;2 <;/SUB>;together, R<;SUB>;3 <;/SUB>;and R<;SUB>;4 <;/SUB>;together, or R<;SUB>;5 <;/SUB>;and R<;SUB>;6 <;/SUB>;together are O(CH<;SUB>;2<;/SUB>;)<;SUB>;m<;/SUB>;O, in which each of R and R', independently, is H or C<;SUB>;1<;/SUB>;~C<;SUB>;6 <;/SUB>;alkyl; and m is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and n is 0, 1, 2, or 3.
