The use of palladium doped ZSM-5 to adsorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs)derived from organic matter, optionally at ambient temperature. The organicmatter can be perishable organic goods such as food, including fruit and/orvegetables, horticultural produce, including plants and/or cut flowers, orrefuse. Palladium doped ZSM-5 with a Si: Al ratio of less than or equal to100:1 and a palladium content of from 0.1 wt% to 10.0 wt% based on the totalweight of the doped ZSM-5 are also claimed.
