The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising 3-[5-amino-4- (3-cyanobenzoyl)-pyrazol-1-yl]-N-cyclopropyl-4-methylbenzamide for use in the treatment of acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in human patients having <；2% blood eosinophils.
