A wound closure system (2) includes a device having a first main body (4) and a second main body (6). Each of the first main body (4) and the second main body (6) has an adhesive backing (20). The first main body (4) is coupled to the second main body (6) by an adjustable connector (8). The adjustable connector (8) is permitted to move in a single direction.
