The invention concerns a method for producing an elastically stretchable laminate (19) comprising at least three layers (1, 6, 18), the method including the steps of: a) producing a first laminate (8) comprising a first non-elastic fibrous nonwoven web (1) and an elastic film (6)； b) activating the first laminate (8) by incremental stretching in at least one direction to render the first laminate (8) elastically stretchable； c) stretching the activated first laminate (8) to 10-200% in at least one direction； and d) laminating the stretched first laminate (8) to a second non-elastic nonwoven web (18). An elastically stretchable laminate produced in accordance with the method is also disclosed.
