PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which can appropriately perform imaging accompanied by fat suppression.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus 100 includes a reception part and an execution part. The reception part receives instructions on whether or not to include a second imaging for confirming influence of fat suppression in a protocol group included in a prescribed inspection when performing a first imaging for collecting image data on an output image while being accompanied by the fat suppression.
