The present invention relates to a whitening cosmetic composition comprising extract of Clerodendrum trichotomum as an active ingredient and is characterized in containing 0.001-30 wt% of extract of clerodendrum trichotomum as an active ingredient based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
