PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing cornea cells, allowing a cell membrane to be easily released without breaking by controlling the adhesion force between the surface of a culture substrate and cornea cells and by a low-temperature treatment after the culture.SOLUTION: In the method for culturing cornea cells, cornea cells are cultured on a cell culture substrate containing a copolymer (A) of a monomer (a) expressed by formula (1) (in the formula, Rexpresses a hydrogen atom or methyl group, Rexpresses a 1-3C alkyl group, and n expresses an integer of 4-30) and methoxyethyl acrylate (b), and at least one kind of inorganic material (B) selected from water-swellable clay mineral and silica; and after that, the cultured cells are released from the substrate.
