To provide a device for enabling a user to easily confirm the deterioration in quality of medical images due to an insufficient irradiation dose in a medical image capturing apparatus.

SOLUTION: An image inspection device 10 receives medical image data generated by a modality 40. The image inspection device 10 generates total information (an S value tabulation table and a reference value calculating table) by summing up S values included in the received medical image data. The image inspection device 10 calculates a reference value of the S value based ON the total information (the reference value calculating table). The image inspection device 10 determines whether the S value included in the medical image data newly acquired from the modality 40 is appropriate or not based ON the reference value. When the image inspection device 10 determines that the S value is not appropriate and it displays warning information ON an image inspection screen.
