PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line protection device which can be easily installed in a transmission line to be protected against bitten damage by rat-like animals, etc. and can restrict expenses required for installation work.SOLUTION: A transmission line protection device 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of rotary bodies 20 successively disposed in a transmission line 50 and stoppers 40 which are disposed on the transmission line 50 one each at both ends of an aggregate consisting of the plurality of rotary bodies 20 in such a way that their positions in the longer direction of the transmission line 50 are substantially uniform. Each rotary body 20 is almost spherical in its outer shape, and has a transmission line passage hole 21 in order for the transmission line 50 to pass through.
