PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater-utilizing-type plant cultivation device which attains an energy-saving-type automatic irrigation system enabling water supply necessary for growth of plant by utilizing rainwater.SOLUTION: The rainwater-utilizing-type plant cultivation device 1 includes: an upwardly opened gutter-like bottomed box 3 for housing a plant cultivation container 2 whose bottom part is provided with a drainage hole a rainwater supply part 5 supplying rainwater to the inside of the gutter-like box 3 and a rainwater drainage part 6 draining a prescribed amount or more of rainwater inside the gutter-like box 3 to the outer part. The level H1 of the opening surface 6a of the rainwater drainage part 6 is disposed so as to be higher than the level H2 of the drainage hole of the plant cultivation container 2 housed in the inner part of the gutter-like box 3.
