PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissolving apparatus and a dissolving method which facilitate dissolving medicine in a solvent within a medicine container.SOLUTION: A dissolving apparatus for dissolving medicine in a solvent within a medicine container is provided which comprises a medicine container holding section and a motion mechanism. A medicine container comprises a container body and a cap which is undetachable from the container body and encapsulates medicine in the container body. The medicine container holding section can hold one or more medicine containers.
