PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating, reducing and controlling the appearance of skin aging, and a method for discriminating a granzyme B inhibitor from an active substance.SOLUTION: A method includes applying a granzyme B inhibitor to a target skin, for keeping the external appearance of the target skin youthful, for reducing and controlling the appearance of the aging, for reducing the appearance speed of the aging, for reducing the loss of the elasticity of skin, for reducing the speed of losing the elasticity, and for maintaining the elasticity of skin, and for increasing the hair follicle density. There is provided use of the granzyme B inhibitor. In addition, a method for discriminating the granzyme B inhibitor and an active substance is provided.【課題】皮膚の老化の発現の処置、低減及び抑制に関する方法を提供する。また、グランザイムＢ阻害剤、作用物質の識別方法を提供する。【解決手段】対象の皮膚にグランザイムＢ阻害剤を適用することを含む、対象の皮膚の外観を若々しく保ち、老化の発現を低減・抑制し、老化の発現速度を低減し、皮膚の弾力性の喪失を低減し、皮膚の非弾力性の増加速度を低減し、皮膚の弾力性を維持し、体毛の毛包密度を増加させる方法及び使用が提供される。さらにグランザイムＢ阻害剤及び作用物質の識別方法が提供される。【選択図】図１
