PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can retain adhesiveness by permitting the rubber thread of the crotch portion to be expanded and contracted, interlocking with upward and downward movements of a tape-type paper diaper by a wearer.
SOLUTION: The tape-type absorbent article 1 has a body portion 10 having a liquid permeable obverse sheet 10a, a liquid impermeable reverse sheet 10b, an absorber 12 interposed between the obverse sheet 10a and the reverse sheet 10b, and a pair of tape portions 20 and 20 extended to both sides of the back side portion 16 of the body portion 10 which is located on the back side of the wearer during wearing. Leg circling elastic members 2b and 2b are continuously arranged from both edge portions of the crotch portion 17 of the body portion 10 which are located between the abdomen side portion 15 of the body portion 10 which is located on the abdomen side of the wearer during wearing and the back side portion 16 to the position of the tape portions 20 and 20 which project from at least the body portion through the leg circling portions 18 and 18 located around the legs of the wearer during wearing.
