PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing cosmetic which can effectively remove a makeup cosmetic, does not damage detergency even if water intrudes upon use (water resistance), has a satisfactory refreshing feeling (rinsability) after washing, and also has satisfactory storage stability.SOLUTION: The cleansing cosmetic includes a component (A) by 0.05 to 20 mass%, a component (B) by 0.2 to 60 mass% and a component (C) by 20 to 80 mass% to the whole quantity of the cleansing cosmetic, and the mass ratio between the components (A) and (B) is (4:1) to (1:4). The component (A) is a polyalkylene glycol derivative represented by general formula (1). (In formula (1), EO denotes an oxyethylene group, AO denotes a 3 to 4C oxyalkylene group, and EO and AO are coupled in a block shape. m and n are the average addition molar number of EO and AO, respectively, m is 0 to 15, n is 10 to 60, and the mass ratio of AO to the total of EO and AO is 80 to 100 mass%. R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a 1 to 4C alkyl group.)
