PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that inhibits urine from moving to the gluteal side or the abdominal side along three-dimensional gathers to prevent the urine from leaking from the gluteal side or the abdominal side.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body 4 including a front face sheet 1, a back face sheet 2, and an absorber 3 interposed between both sheets； and a pair of three-dimensional gathers 41 disposed in the longer direction on both sides in the width direction of the absorbent main body, the three-dimensional gathers being capable of being erected. A three-dimensional gather includes uneven areas 44 on an erection base part 41b side of a surface on the absorbent main body side, the uneven areas being repeatedly arranged in the longer direction. The uneven areas are arranged at least on a rear part R, of the three-dimensional gathers, at which the gluteal side of a wearer of the absorbent article is positioned.
