To provide a connector of an ultrasound probe which: prevents ingress of liquid and secures electromagnetic compatibility； allows connection to a general-purpose ultrasound diagnostic apparatus body； prevents degradation of the electronics caused by temperature rise on a control board； and makes it possible for an operator to easily hold the enclosure by reducing the temperature rise in the surface of the enclosure.SOLUTION: The ultrasound probe comprises: an ultrasound probe body； and a connector 30A connected to the ultrasound probe body through a cable 22. The connector 30A comprises: a connector plug 31A detachably connected to an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus body； a control circuit board 34A for controlling the ultrasound probe body； a heat storage part 37A connected to the control circuit board 34A； and a closed-structure enclosure 38A in which the control circuit board 34A and the heat storage part 37A are housed.
