To provide an ultrasonic probe where reliability is improved and variations of acoustic characteristics are reduced.
SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a piezoelectric vibrator that is vibrated in a thickness longitudinal vibration mode so as to irradiate ultrasonic waves and an intermediate layer a surface and the other surface of which are bonded to the piezoelectric vibrator and a printed wiring board respectively and whose acoustic impedance is larger than that of the piezoelectric vibrator. In the ultrasonic probe and the intermediate layer has such a configuration that an uneven surface shape formed ON a plane bonded to the piezoelectric vibrator and an uneven surface shape formed ON the plane bonded to the printed circuit board are different with each other.
