PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer substrate for micro-patterned vascular endothelial cells that allows micro-patterned vascular endothelial cells to be easily and stably transferred to an adherend by bringing the transfer substrate into contact with the adherend.SOLUTION: The transfer substrate for micro-patterned vascular endothelial cells includes: a base material a stimulus-responsive layer that is arranged on the base material and contains a stimulus-responsive material having cellular adhesiveness and exhibiting cellular non-adhesiveness by stimulation and a cell adhesion inhibiting layer that is arranged on the base material in a pattern form and contains a cell adhesion inhibiting material having cell non-adhesiveness. The surface of the cell adhesion inhibiting layer is formed to be higher than the surface of the stimulus-responsive layer. The lower-limit height of the cell adhesion inhibiting layer is a height that prevents vascular endothelial cells from going thereover. The upper-limit height of the cell adhesion inhibiting layer is a height that allows collection of micro-patterned vascular endothelial cells formed on the stimulus-responsive layer.
