The invention is directed to a fishing reel. The fishing reel comprises a reel body (1), a rotating member (3) rotatably supported by the reel body (1), a one-way clutch (5) prohibiting the rotation of the rotating member (3) in one direction and that is fitted to the rotating member, a rotor (11) connecting and rotating with the rotating member (3), wherein the rotor (11) includes a boss section (113), a connecting part connected to the rotating member (3) and extending to the one-way clutch (5), a magnetic body (7) that forms on outer periphery of the boss section (113), a magnet (8) sandwiched between magnetic plates (9a, 9b) in a direction along the rotating member (3), wherein the magnet (8) and magnetic plates (9a, 9b) are configured facing the rotation radius direction and form a gap with the magnetic body (7), and a magnetic fluid (10) disposed in the gap between the magnetic plates (9a, 9b) and the magnetic body (7), whereby the gap between the magnetic plates (9a, 9b) and the magnetic body (7) is sealed.本發明之課題為不降低磁性密封機構之密封功能地維持穩定之防水性能。本發明之釣魚用捲線器具備：捲線器本體1；小齒輪3，其可旋轉地支持於捲線器本體1；單向離合器5，其嵌合於小齒輪3，限制小齒輪3之單向旋轉；轉子11，其嵌合於小齒輪3而與小齒輪3一併旋轉，且與小齒輪3相接之部分包含向單向離合器5側延伸之凸座部113；磁性體7，其環繞凸座部113之旋轉方向外周而形成；以及磁性密封機構，其具有與磁性體7空開間隙地於旋轉半徑方向對向之磁石8、與磁性體7空開間隙地於旋轉半徑方向對向且於旋轉軸方向夾持磁石8的磁性板9a、9b、及配置於磁性板9a、9b與磁性體7之間隙的磁性流體10，將蓋構件6與磁性體7之間密封。
