PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of increasing a component of lost high frequency in any waves conducted from inside of a measurement target to improve space resolution activity and measurement precision.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises a nonlinear reception processing part executes at least one of the following process on wave conducted from inside of a measurement target: (i) a process where the conducted wave is subjected to nonlinear processing with a nonlinear device 11 on a conducting pathway and received by a transducer 10 to generate reception signal (ii) a process where the conducted wave is received by the transducer 10 to generate analog reception signal and then the reception signal is subjected to analog nonlinear processing and (iii) a process where the conducted wave is received by the transducer 10 to generate analog reception signal and then a digital reception signal generated by digital sampling of the reception signal is subjected to digital nonlinear processing.
