PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interval holding material for a bird-preventing thin wire that is easily assembled upright to an overhead wire.SOLUTION: There is provided the interval holding material extended between an overhead wire (c) and a bird-preventing thin wire (a) wired right above the overhead wire (c) in parallel to hold the distance between both the wires (c) and (a) within a predetermined range. The interval holding material comprises a holding material main body 1 having a bird-preventing thin wire assembly part 4 above an intermediate material 16 and an overhead wire assembly part 2 below, and an upper slide fitting material 5 slid and fit to the bird-preventing thin wire assembly part 4 of the holding main body 1 to clamp the thin wire (a) and a lower slide fitting material slid and fit to the overhead assembly part 2 of the holding material main body 1 to clamp the overhead wire (c).
